actually from what I can tell I think the fulton was more so based on one of the Metal Gear Solid games’s take on the Fulton if I remember correctly, didn’t know the fulton was a real thing tho
but yeah, for those who may not know what scene I am talking about, well for one I am not a metal gear fan, but I remember a scene from one of the newer MGS games with like “this is a fulton recover device” or something like that and it looked very similar to the sprite in ss14, so I believe that was supposed to be the reference, a MGS reference
(I mean not surprising both og ss13 and ss14 has a history of adding things that are direct references or subtle nods or references to other media)
