Multi-lang threads/tags?

I’ve been thinking about multilingual threads for quite a long time. There are plans to create a forum thread with a server to attract the Russian-speaking side of the players. I would like to know your opinion on the organization of such a thing: whether to leave the forum only in English, divide it into threads with tags [RU], or create a subsection for separate languages.

Wouldn’t it make more sense for RU to have it’s own separate forum?

Downsides to having ENG mixed with RU on same forum:

  • ENG speakers are going to get notification e-mails about new threads in RU language, which they won’t be able to read.
  • ENG speakers would get thread recommendations for RU threads and vice-versa
  • Difficulty moderating since I don’t speak RU (though it is easier on a forum than discord/etc due to autotranslator)
  • Other things?
